 Riverside Drive, the "Gold Coast"The best apartments in our neighborhood are on Riverside Drive, where they overlook Riverside Park and the Hudson River. Many of the finest north of 116th St. belong to Columbia University, which uses them for senior faculty housing. In summer, a few apartments still sport striped canvas awnings, a New York tradition from the days before air conditioning. |
