Riverside Park

This is the esplanade of Riverside Park, which runs from north of us all the way down to 72nd St. It is the popular local place to jog or walk the dog. The less active may find the frequent chess games more appealing, titilated by the knowledge that Whittaker Chambers used to meet his Soviet control right along here back when he was a spy. This park will be even more pleasant when the new Cherry Walk, a path along the Hudson, and possibly a footbridge to the river's edge, get built in the next few years.
