 Benches At Grant's Tomb
These benches, which extend for more than 100 feet, are exquisite as works of surrealist folk art but are not really appropriate for their site. One day they may be moved somewhere more suitable. They were built in the 60's and are maintained to this day by admirers. The National Park Service got into trouble for trying to remove them a few years ago.
