 Samad's Deli and The Heights Restaurant
This building won the 1997 architectural restoration award of a now-defunct community organization, the Morningside Heights Residents Association. The restaurant on top has a charming roof deck in summer. This style of this structure is pure San-Franciscoism, alien to Manhattan, but on Heights such as ours, can this be blamed?
