Riverside Park in the days before it was extended out over the railroad tracks, which used to run right along the edge of the Hudson. They are now in a tunnel and our precious waterfront is wasted, instead, on a freeway. The structure on the right of the image Grant's Tomb. Note the two battleships and string of barges on the Hudson. The image has a date in the right bottom corner. |
