Panorama of Grant's Tomb and Hudson Rivers, 1909

This picture shows Riverside Park in the days before it was extended out over the railroad tracks, which used to run right along the edge of the Hudson. They are now in a tunnel and our precious waterfront is wasted, instead, on a freeway. The structure on the right of the image Grant's Tomb. Note the two battleships and string of barges on the Hudson. The image has a date in the right bottom corner.
