Vanished: Ferry to Edgewater, NJ (Date Unknown)

There used to be a ferry from the piers at the end of 125th St. straight across the Hudson River to Edgewater, NJ, in those days a rail-and-shipping industrial strip below the cliffs of a suburban residential area. Now it is a large group of shopping centers. The ferry died when the George Washington Bridge opened in the 30's.
